Elevating Craft to an Art Form.

At Lightspann, we view materials as the language of design. We fabricate our lights using an extensive variety of glass, metal, woods, fabrics and textiles to create sculptural works of functional art that tell unique and memorable stories. We employ an extraordinary team of skilled artisans whose proficiency and dedication to their craft is evident in every fixture.

Although we work with a broad palette of rich materials, glass is our medium of choice. The ultimate artistic canvas, glass incorporates light, color, texture and sculptural form in a single medium that captures the senses like no other. Our selection of raw glass material, fabrication technique and color is determined by the unique aesthetic and functional design requirements of each fixture. Lightspann glass fixtures feature blown, slumped, fused, cast, sand-edged and hand-painted materials, all of which can be customized to the client’s need.

As a craft-based business, we recognize a responsibility to conserve while creating. 100% of our manufacturing is based in Utah, virtually all of our raw materials are sourced domestically, and many are recycled or reused. This results in low embodied energy in all of our products. We also use VOC-free paints and bio-stable, environmentally sensitive packaging.
